Apple Support team also confirmed in a Tweet by stating that Night Shift should not affect the battery life at all.
Does iPhone’s Night Shift block blue light completely?
Night Shift helps with filtering the blue light emission from your device’s screen. But there’s no proof that says Night Shift stops the blue light ‘completely’. You can use this feature to reduce eye strain at night.
